What we collect, and why

We collect the minimum personal information needed to do three things:

• Reply to your messages. When you email us at hello@, bookings@ or press@, or use the contact form on this site, we collect your name, email address and the content of your message. We use this solely to reply to you.
• Send you the updates you've asked for. When you sign up to our newsletter, the international donor waitlist, or the livestream reminder, we collect your email address. We only use it to send the specific updates you've subscribed to.
• Run the site itself. Our hosting provider (Vercel) logs standard access information like IP address, browser type and referring page. We do not use this for tracking or advertising. We also use Plausible Analytics to count visits and understand which pages people find useful — this is privacy-friendly and does not track individuals.

Where your data is stored

Our newsletter signups are handled by Kit (kit.com), a third-party service with its own privacy policy. Contact form submissions are sent to us via Resend, an email delivery service. Our website is hosted on Vercel. Analytics are provided by Plausible, which does not use cookies and does not identify individual visitors. Each of these is a reputable provider with appropriate data protections in place.

What we never do

• We never sell your personal information.
• We never share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.
• We don't use advertising cookies or tracking pixels.
• We don't profile you or build behavioural records.

Your rights

You can unsubscribe from any of our newsletters in one click, using the link at the bottom of every email we send. You can ask us to delete any data we hold about you at any time by emailing hello@therealthandachoir.com. We will confirm deletion within 30 days.

Under the UK/EU GDPR and South Africa's POPIA, you have additional rights — including to access a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to correct inaccurate data, and to object to processing. To exercise any of these rights, email us at the address above.

Cookies

This site uses only essential cookies — none for analytics, advertising or tracking. There is no cookie banner because we don't need your consent for cookies that are strictly necessary to provide the service you've requested.
